FAQs

01

What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a natural compound derived from the hemp plant. It is one of over 100 cannabinoids found in cannabis plants, known for its potential therapeutic benefits.

02

Is CBD legal?

Federally: CBD derived from hemp (containing less than 0.3% THC) was made legal at the federal level by the 2018 Farm Bill. This allowed for the production and sale of hemp-derived CBD products. However, CBD derived from marijuana (with higher levels of THC) remains illegal under federal law.

State Laws: While federally legal, some states have their own restrictions or regulations regarding the sale and use of CBD products. Some states allow both hemp- and marijuana-derived CBD, while others may only permit hemp-derived products. We are able to ship all our products to all states. There are two products we are unable to ship to two states. Delta 9 products cannot and will not ship to Idaho or Oregon.

03

Will CBD get me high?

No, CBD (cannabidiol) will not get you high. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the psychoactive compound in cannabis that produces a "high," CBD is non-psychoactive. It interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system but does not cause the same intoxicating effects as THC.

However, some CBD products may contain trace amounts of THC (usually less than 0.3% in hemp-derived CBD), but this is not enough to produce a high. If you're consuming a pure CBD isolate or broad-spectrum CBD product (which has no THC), you won't experience any psychoactive effects.

If you’re concerned about THC content, check the product label and opt for our broad spectrum products that are THC-free.
