FAQs
01
What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a natural compound derived from the hemp plant. It is one of over 100 cannabinoids found in cannabis plants, known for its potential therapeutic benefits.
02
Is CBD legal?
Yes, CBD derived from hemp is legal at the federal level in the United States, thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill. To be legal, CBD products must come from hemp plants containing no more than 0.3% THC (the compound that causes a "high"). However, some states have their own rules about how CBD can be sold or used, so it’s always a good idea to check your local laws too.
03
Will CBD get me high? What about your DElta 9 products?
Our CBD products will not get you high. CBD is non-intoxicating and is used to support relaxation, stress relief, and overall balance without any psychoactive effects. However, our Delta 9 products can get you high. Delta 9 THC is the main compound in cannabis responsible for the "high" feeling, and even though our Delta 9 is hemp-derived and compliant with federal law (under 0.3% THC by dry weight), it can still produce noticeable effects like euphoria and relaxation.
04
What are the potential benefits of CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), a network of receptors that helps regulate key functions like mood, sleep, memory, pain response, and immune balance. By influencing CB1 and CB2 receptors indirectly, CBD can help promote a sense of calm during times of stress, support deeper and more restorative sleep cycles, enhance mental focus by balancing neurotransmitter activity, and aid in muscle recovery by reducing exercise-related inflammation. Research continues to uncover how CBD can naturally support overall homeostasis, helping the body maintain balance and resilience.
05
How long does it take to feel the effects of CBD?
The time it takes to feel the effects of CBD depends on the type of product and your metabolism. Our Harmony Gel collection is fast-acting, with effects that can be felt within 20 minutes, making them very popular for quick relief. Our topicals offer almost immediate relief, and you’ll experience better results with regular use, as they’re absorbed through the skin for targeted, localized relief. For tinctures, effects are typically felt within 15–45 minutes when taken directly under the tongue, as they are absorbed quickly. However, when tinctures are added to drinks or food, they may take longer to take effect due to the digestion process. Gummies can take 15 minutes to 2 hours to take effect, as they need to be digested first. Since absorption can vary based on metabolism, we recommend starting with a lower dose and adjusting as needed to find what works best for you.
06
How do I know the right amount of CBD to take?
The ideal CBD dosage can vary from person to person, depending on factors like body weight, metabolism, and the specific effects you're looking for. We recommend starting with the lowest suggested dose listed on the product label. This allows you to see how your body responds before adjusting the dosage. You can gradually increase the amount if needed, but always listen to your body and find what works best for you. For topicals, a small amount applied to the affected area is typically enough to start. For tinctures and gummies, begin with the lower end of the suggested dose and adjust over time. Remember, consistency is key, and results often improve with regular use.
07
I don't want THC, which products should I look for?
If you're looking for products with no THC, we recommend Broad Spectrum CBD. These products contain a range of beneficial cannabinoids and compounds from the hemp plant, but no THC. All our Broad Spectrum CBD products are clearly noted on our website, so please double-check that the items in your basket are labeled as Broad Spectrum. Please note that Full Spectrum and Delta 9 products do contain THC.
08
How do I use CBD?
How you use CBD depends on the type of product you choose. For example, tinctures are usually taken under the tongue for faster absorption, gummies are eaten and go through digestion for a slower, longer-lasting effect, and topicals are applied directly to the skin for targeted relief. Always follow the serving suggestions on the product label, and start with a lower amount to see how your body responds before adjusting as needed. Everyone’s ideal amount and method can vary, so it’s important to find what works best for your personal needs.
09
Will I pass a drug test if I use CBD or Delta 9 products?
While CBD products that contain less than 0.3% THC (such as Broad Spectrum CBD) are unlikely to cause a positive drug test result, there is still a risk. Some sensitive drug tests may detect trace amounts of THC, even in legal hemp-derived products. Delta 9 products, on the other hand, can cause a positive drug test result since they contain higher levels of THC. If you are subject to drug testing for work or other reasons, we recommend consulting with your employer or testing authority before using any CBD or Delta 9 products.
010
Can I travel with my hemp products?
Traveling with CBD is generally safe, as long as the product contains less than 0.3% THC (which is the federal legal limit for hemp-derived products). All of our products have a QR code, allowing you to easily access third-party lab tests that confirm they contain less than 0.3% THC. However, it's still important to check the laws of your destination state or country, as regulations can vary. While most domestic travel within the U.S. allows CBD products, certain states may have restrictions.
Delta 9, even when derived from hemp and under the legal 0.3% THC limit, is more complicated. Some states have laws specifically prohibiting the sale and possession of Delta 9 THC products, so it’s important to check local regulations before traveling. Always make sure your Delta 9 product is clearly labeled with its THC content, and if you're flying, ensure it’s packed in accordance with TSA guidelines.
We recommend doing research and confirming the laws in both your departure and arrival locations to ensure a smooth trip.
